Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels are prescription based ingredients applied to your face to achieve a smoother texture and to treat sun spots, sun damaged skin, acne, melasma, scars, and wrinkles.  Chemical peels are recommended to maintain youthful skin because exfoliation, one can have youthful skin.  Depending on the type of kin problem, you have, you can choose a very light, light, medium or deep peel.  The amount of downtime will depend on the peel chosen.

Microdermabrasion

This treatment is used to reduce acne, acne scars, pore size reduction, excessive oiliness, pigmentation problems and wrinkles.  Microscopic crystals flow over the face removing the epidermis to expose healthy new skin cells.

Acne

Depending on the amount and type of acne, one can use different modalities including facials, chemical peels, IPL (Intense Pulse Light), Thermage, Microdermabrasion, Prescription Creams, and Steroid Injections (for cystic acne).  An evaluation by Dr. Cathy will determine the best choice of treatment.

Eczema

Eczema can be treated with steroids and moisturizers but sometimes a strength custom made cream or ointment combination needs to be used which can be provided on an individual basis.  Dr. Cathy will do a complete evaluation and decide on the best combination for you.
